While shopping in Chicago last fall, I was looking for some unique kitchen design ideas. I happened to come across this stunning countertop that looked like Calcutta marble. The finish was very smooth, it had a great sheen to it, and there were no visible seams. It was unlike anything I had seen before. Upon further inquiry, I discovered that not only was it a product that could be installed in my home, but the company who sold the product and the people who could install it were right here in Nashville: Panelscapes & Tennessee Tile and Marble. The final result- I love it. It is a porcelain product however when guests walk into the kitchen they automatically think the countertop is marble. The fantastic part is I don’t have to worry about the wine glass left there all night, the ketchup spills my kids have not cleaned up, or for me...my margarita salt leaving a stained rim on the counter. The gentlemen who installed the countertops were a class act. They didn’t rush through the job, and made certain that all aspects of the installation were perfect from beginning to end. We were very pleased at how they aligned the veins, and that the flow of the “marble” seemed continuous. With the finished install, it all looks very impressive. I would highly recommend this product. The people that we worked with were fabulous from beginning to end. It looks fantastic, and I can’t wait to do another project!
